Description of Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and implement webservice processes using IBM App Connect developmenttool.

  • Understand business requirements and develop efficient webservice processes.

  • Understand best practice solutions using our existing framework and guidelines.

  • Interfacing with Delivery leads on enhancement requests.

  • Ability to multi-task on multiple priorities.Ability to analyze and troubleshoot existing interface processes.

The base salary range for this position is $87,000 - $114,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise/ACE (formerly known as IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or WebSphere Message Broker (WMB)) development in a fast-paced technical environment.

  • 3 years of experience with IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX), BPEL.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Proven track record of high-quality deliverables

  • Demonstrate innovative problem solving, analysis, design, and testing skills.

  • Desire to for continuous learning with the ability to grasp new concepts and technologies.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong negotiation skills.

  • IBM App Connect Enterprise v11.x

  • IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender & BPEL

  • IBM MQSeries

  • DB2, Oracle, SQLServer, Mongo

  • XML, SOAP

  • REST Principles, API design, and JSON

  • Microsoft Azure

Skills:

Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of concept and principles of agile methodology; ability to apply appropriate agile approaches in the processes of software development and delivery.

Application Design, Architecture: Knowledge of basic activities and deliverables of application design; ability to utilize application design methodologies, tools and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design.

Documentation Architecture and Design: Knowledge of documentation architecture and design; ability to build efficient processes, use appropriate tools and technique , and create complete documentation portfolios for software or technology products.

Software Development: Knowledge of software development tools and activities; ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements.

System and Technology Integration: Knowledge of the features and facilities of systems; ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases and technology platforms.
