Wells Fargo Senior Lead Digital Product Manager in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Owner (Senior Lead Digital Product Manager) in Technology as part of the Chief Technology Office (CTO). The selected Product Owner will have proven technical and leadership skills in large enterprise infrastructure environments to collaborate with the Product Managers on the overall product intention map, working closely with engineering to deliver modern capabilities. This new team member will facilitate the prioritization of a clearly understood product area backlog aligned to the product area vision and goals. Additionally, this new team member will establish, communicate, and monitor product-area goals and performance indicators related to the consumer experience.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence digital products, initiatives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs across a functional area within the Digital environment

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas of the enterprise

  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, and analytical thinking

  • Coordinate highly complex activities with other product owners and managers to deliver value aligned to the product vision and Voice of the Customer, throughout the product lifecycle

  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have significant impact

  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise

  • Serve as an expert advisor to leadership, to identify and resolve sequencing and prioritization conflicts across products and product areas

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 7+ years of experience participating on teams in an Agile framework setting

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong communication skills and comfortable when speaking with business stakeholders

  • Strategic thinker capable of envisioning the future of the product

  • Experience with a healthy backlog of Jira items that are linked appropriately (Story → Feature → Epic)

  • Proven knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the relevant business function (E.g. Managed File Transfer)

  • Experience in backlog development (E.g., prioritization and grooming, writing stories)

  • Familiarity with basic technology concepts (E.g., Managed File Transfer)

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel 20%

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule
