Wells Fargo Senior Lead Consultant -- Auto Analytics in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant within Auto. This role will be joining our growing Auto analytics team and be responsible for building analytics within our Auto product team that will help guide strategies and decision making.
Converting data into insight and actionable intelligence through modeling from an analytics perspective, drawing conclusions, and providing a consultative solutions. Success in this role is an end-to-end analytical toolkit that includes coding experience with SQL, Python, SAS. Being able to refine data, analyze and gain insight as well as data modeling. Execute data research projects or results oriented intelligence that support the business.
The Senior Lead Analytics Consultant will become a subject matter expert and owner on these data environments and data processes, manage risk and develop/manage technology partnerships. The Senior Lead Analytics Consultant will need to understand deeply the business processes, concepts, and data behind those business functions to consult and perform data and business analysis independently and propose business recommendation. In this role, you will:
Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence analytical strategies for highly complex business and technical needs
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques and advanced data from multiple sources across the enterprise
Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, innovation, and coordination of highly complex activities
Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that align to the enterprise
Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed
Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
7+ years of hands-on programming experience using SQL and SAS
2 + years of Python experience

Advise experienced leadership to develop or influence statistical modeling, analytical strategies, and advanced data visualization for complex business and technical needs
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques, advance data from multiple sources, and mathematics behind data analysis across the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical, and coordination of highly complex activities
Lead in identifying potential problem areas, create hypotheses and execute analysis through meaningful translated data insights
Consult stakeholders to action and develop recommendations for actionable solutions
Job Expectations:
The Auto product analytical team is looking for seasoned analyst to provide analytics, strategy and insights to support business partners
Ideal candidates will have analytical experience transforming data into insights, communicating complexities to partners with various levels of analytic concepts
As a senior role, a high level of independence and task management will be needed, often meeting tight deadlines
This role requires high level analytic expertise, data management and problem solving
Design and lead complex projects, analyses, and application of techniques across the enterprise
Provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that align to the enterprise
Engage with peers, managers risk, compliance, managers across the enterprise, and serve as an expert advisor to leadership team
Research complex data management issues
This position will require onsite presence at one of the locations listed below in a hybrid work schedule
