About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to be part of the Chief Technology Office (CTO) Data & Analytics team. The CTO Data & Analytics team provides executive insights, operational, and advanced analytics across Wells Fargo Technology. Our strategy focuses on building fully automated solutions that provide a wide range of interactive visualizations from a multitude of data sources to examine metrics, risks, trends, and overall performance, and enable predictive and contextual business intelligence, to include development and utilization of AI and ML, for optimization and proactive management. This Senior Software Engineer will partner with other data modelers, business partners, ETL developers, and business intelligence analysts to design/develop/deploy business intelligence-based solutions. The successful candidate will play a critical role as a team member who applies hands-on experience with databases, ETL tools, reporting, coding, and data analytics to drive the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of robust business intelligence systems and data visualization strategies. Specifically, the candidate will build and maintain SQL and MongoDB databases, identify current data gaps, leverage available analytics tools and programming languages to mine available data and deliver analytic findings, and strategize with the team to create solutions with a robust focus on automation, scalability, and action-oriented intelligence. This position requires a candidate that will effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic, high pressure enterprise environment using Agile methodologies.
In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Data Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
4+ years of Microsoft SQL Server experience.
2+ years of MongoDB experience.
3+ years of experience with one or more CI/CD and Automation tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Gradle, Maven, MSBuild, NPM, SonarQube, Artifactory, Harness CD & GitOps, IBM uDeploy, Ansible.
Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban.
Desired Qualifications:
4+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience.
4+ years of Autosys experience.
4+ years of experience with Power BI reports, visualization dashboards and data exploration.
3+ years of developing and using Application Program Interface (API).
Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration.
Hands-on experience in Kafka, Apache Beam, Spark, Java, Spring, Microservices, APIs, Analytics, Machine learning, Python, Batch and Realtime Data processing.
Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing.
Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations.
2+ years of Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and experience with relevant frameworks and libraries.
Cloud certified with Hands-on knowledge of Google/Azure Cloud.
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 10%.
This position is not available for visa sponsorship.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
Ability to work outside of regular business hours.
May be required to serve in an on-call rotation for application support.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
