About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Mortgage Loan Financial Analyst to support the Cash Management Team within Commercial Mortgage Servicing (CMS). Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.
In this role, you will:
Participate in more complex initiatives and identify opportunity for process improvements for timely processing of all incoming business lending within Transaction and Processing
Review and analyze basic business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables
Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements for loan approval documents
Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners and stakeholders, including internal and external customers if applicable
Work with both origination and central analysts in the preparation of loan approval documents
Administer complex Waterfall Accounting for Cash Management accounts associated with commercial loans

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation, and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in an fast-paced financial environment
Knowledge of Commercial Real Estate
Ability to prioritize conflicting deliverables in real time
Experience with basic accounting principles
Loan documentation and/or closing experience
Relationship management experience
Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of customers, team members and management
Microsoft Excel spreadsheets experience importing, exporting, and manipulating data including accounting functions
Experience in Treasury Sales
Job Expectations:
Ability to work outside normal business hours
Wells Fargo has recently entered into an agreement to sell the third-party servicing function of Commercial Mortgage Servicing (CMS) to Trimont Global LLC (Trimont). The sale is expected to close in early 2025 (the “Closing Date”). We are continuing to recruit for open positions supporting CMS but want to ensure you are aware that should you be selected for and accept this position, you will also receive an offer from Trimont prior to the Closing Date with similar employment terms and conditions following your Wells Fargo start date.
