TIAA Scrum Master in Charlotte, North Carolina

Scrum Master

Collects and analyzes data and requirements, business processes and cost-benefit for proposed projects.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conducting research and analyzing financial and operational data for projects. Analyzing parameters including costs, time-lines, technical functions, benefits and risks of projects.

  • Preparing preliminary interpretations of analyses for project teams, clients, and/or department management.

  • Supporting the project manager on project administration and process improvements.

  • Preparing and distributing progress reports tracked against deliverables.


  • 2 Years Required; 3 Years Preferred

  • University (Degree), Preferred

Career Level


Required :

  • 5 or more years of scrum master experience

  • Must have experience in SCRUM/KANBAN/LEAN, and project planning at a sprint and iteration level

  • Must have Financial industry experience with an emphasis on digital

  • Must have experience with tools like JIRA, JIRA Align, Flow Metrics


  • Experience in Web delivery project

  • Experience with agile practices, patterns and techniques, preferable SAFe and Kanban experience

  • Experience in Agile techniques such as User Stories, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing, etc.

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or SAFe certification is ideal but not required

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Potential Salary: $93,500.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
