Job Summary : In this role as Sales Excellence Leader, you will deliver strategic planning and culture change that make a difference in the lives of people and aligns the Thermo King Americas business for growth. This role encompasses leadership in the realms of Sales Management, Sales Process (customer-focused consultative selling), Channel Coaching, and Channel Sales Growth. Success while developing and implementing the Sales Excellence strategy will stem from high levels of collaboration with an engaged international Commercial Team (internal and channel) as well as the product management and leadership teams. In this role, you will educate, connect people and build a culture that delivers customer success.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate development and implementation of the Sales Excellence strategy and transformation plans

  • Collaborate with Commercial Leaders to nurture culture change toward the Sales Excellence vision

  • Guide Thermo King Sales Process adoption through educational content best practice sharing

  • Guide group discussions in Commercial Team meetings and events to grow awareness and commitment

  • Foster Situational Leadership II coaching techniques within the Commercial Team

  • Partner with the Sales Operations team to expand Pipeline Management capabilities

  • Build system and Commercial Team capability in the Salesforce CRM tool in alignment with Sales Excellence

  • Partner with Product Management on new solution launches to align selling tools to Sales Excellence concepts

  • Partner with business unit stakeholders to deliver high quality messaging and communications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of sales management, channel development or other related experience

  • Experience in managing strategic transformation initiatives from inception through implementation

  • Compelling communication skills, written and verbal; experience presenting to and influencing teams and senior leaders

  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen coupled with excellent problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated coaching proficiency and experience

  • Group learning facilitation

  • Technology proficiency (Microsoft Suite, virtual facilitation)

  • Ability to travel approximately 30%

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce or similar)
