Description & Requirements

Jack Henry Lending is hiring a Report Analyst to join our growing Advisory Services Engagements Team (ASET), which targets billable activities across at least 80% of available ASET time. Interacting directly with Financial Institution (FI) clients who use Jack Henry Lending technology solutions, the Report Analyst documents business requirements for custom report modifications, submits designs to R&D for cost estimates and work effort, then coordinates delivery, client testing, and final approval for the revised report. The Report Analyst may also write, design, and maintain reports as needed. This Team knows the value and the rewards of doing what it takes, as we help FIs support their communities and build lifelong relationships with their borrowers.

This position can be based to work remotely within the U.S.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with technology solutions used by Financial Institutions such as Banks, Credit Unions, or Private Lending Organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Commercial and/or Consumer Lending experience.

  • LoanVantage (or similar Loan Origination System) experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • SQL aptitude important.

  • Foundational understanding of Microsoft Reporting Services and Telerik.

  • Business Intelligence application basics appreciated.

  • Proven experience communicating/interacting with both technical and business colleagues or clients.

Essential Functions

  • Translates client requirements into report mock-ups, based on best practices.

  • Designs standard, custom, and ad-hoc reports, using related documentation.

  • Uses reporting tools, applications, and/or queries to understand data structure in order to map data

  • Provides support and training to end-users for reporting tools and reports.

  • Consults with the business on specific reporting and query requests.

  • Scopes modifications and enhancements to existing reports, based on changing client requirements.

  • Validates and tests reports to ensure accuracy and quality, based on client specifications.
