Remote Advice Business Strategy Manager will focus on creating and delivering various data and analytics on sales activity and trends to increase the value of the enterprise. Additionally, the role is responsible for analyzing data and providing recommendations to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability. Reporting to the Head of Remote Advice and working closely with the leadership team to develop and implement strategic initiatives. Conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and providing insights to support decision-making at a strategic level.

The Business Strategy Manager works with key stakeholders to analyze data and generate solutions to business issues and then implements those solutions; including identifying marketing opportunities, developing project plans, assessing risks and building mitigation strategies across project team. Ability to synthesize data to create business case and reporting, essential for role.

This position can be located in Charlotte, Syracuse, or New York Metro area.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Develops criteria and performs analysis on initiatives to drive Remote Advice sales, Advisor Assist enrollments, marketing, training and development of financial professionals

  • Tracking, reporting and analyzing operational metrics to determine operational efficiency, and trend analysis for Monthly Business Syncs and Bi-Weekly Reporting

  • Monitor progress and document KPIs, including insights; Aligns department goals to company and business area strategy

  • Drives marketing efforts in Marketing Suite, including use of Alida tool and various communication platforms

  • Leads efforts to develop new or revised processes and procedures, understanding industry trends and provides insights

  • Ensures that proper management practices are adhered to by providing ongoing performance and career discussions, on‐time completion of relevant people processes, and fosters Diversity and Inclusion.

The base salary range for this position is $87,000 - $110,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 3-5 years of financial services industry experience or data and analytics

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills with keen interest to further develop these abilities

  • Established written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex topics logically and succinctly

  • Proven interpersonal skills and good judgment

  • Reliable with proven prioritization skills and a clear focus on results

  • Self-starter and comfortable interacting up, down and across the organization

  • Promotes the sharing of knowledge, experience and best practices to foster individual and team development

  • FINRA licenses a plus

  • May require occasional travel

Skills

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
