Lead Project Manager IT

The Program and Project Management job plans, organizes, and controls resources/processes to achieve project/program objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints. Under minimal supervision, this job utilizes general knowledge of the project/business requirements to manage large projects for the organization.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Organizes project teams by assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements necessary to ensure project is successful.

• Estimates the costs, resources, and time required to complete each phase of a project and allocates resources and tasks to ensure these targets are met.

• Implements an established project plan and monitors progress and performance against this plan.

• Monitors the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing.

• Identifies and resolves obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.

• Conducts project meetings and prepares regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.

• Coordinates the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.

Required Skills:

• 5 or more years Demonstrated Release Train Engineer and Scrum Master experience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale initiatives from conception through implementation

• Experience coordinating multiple teams in a technology environment

• Knowledge and experience in software development in an Agile environment.

• Promoter and educator of Agile tools (e.g. Jira, Jira Align, Tasktop Flow) that are present within the enterprise.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent

• SAFe Certified Release Train Engineer certification or equivalent

Preferred Skills:

• SAFe Program Consultant (SPC4) certification or equivalent

• Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certification or equivalent

• Agile Professional Certification in Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-AFT) or equivalent

• Project Management Institute – Agile Certified Professional or equivalent

• Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing and explaining technical and feature functionality related information to business partners and teams.

• Ability to easily build new relationships and proactively establish a variety of contacts across the organization

• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams

• Proven ability to balance concurrent activities

Potential Salary: $139,600.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
