This position is responsible for comparing the physical characteristics of products to the technical specifications to identify and countermeasure nonconformities. This position is also responsible for processing returned product from Customer Centers, Distributors, and related IR facilities. Employee must be attentive to details and ensure that customer quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, measure, and test parts against prints.

  • Record results for technical reporting.

  • Make repairs or modifications to defects.

  • Solve day-to-day customer issues and provide customer support on claims, returns, nonconformances, documentation.

  • Audit product returns to quality standards and engineering specifications.

  • Recommend disposition for non-conforming product.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of all credit return activities and inventory transactions.

  • Perform all position-related functions, put up, and storage of good inspected parts.

  • Re-package and label stock as appropriate to meet packaging resale requirements.

  • Request corrective actions for Quality non-conformances and follow up to eliminate future non-conformances.

  • Create and update Standard Work to conform to ISO 9001; 2015.

  • Effective and Professional Communication Skills (Verbal, Written)

  • Microsoft Excel Usage

  • Ability to use hand tools

  • Ability to use measuring equipment

  • Ability to read blueprints and product specifications

  • Basic mathematics

  • Knowledge of packaging and preservation methods

  • Basic Lean Tools (5S, 8 Wastes, Standard Work)

  • Basic Problem Solving (5Why, Fishbone)

  • Process Improvement and Implementation skills

Key Competencies :

  • Effective Communication Skills (Verbal, Written)

  • Acumen with Oracle and Microsoft (Outlook, Excel)

  • Ability to use hand tools

  • Ability to use measuring equipment

  • Ability to read blueprints and product specifications

  • Acumen with basic mathematics

  • Basic Problem Solving (5Why, Fishbone)

Qualification:

  • Min. Yrs. Experience: 1 year

  • High School graduate (or GED equivalent)-required

  • Forklift Certification

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds

  • Standing and/or walking for entire shift and ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
