The Opportunity Ally Corporate Technology is looking for an experienced Principal Systems Engineer to assist the agile implementation of a consolidated Ally's Capital Markets space. The candidate is encouraged to partner with the Product Owner and Technology Lead to achieve successful business and technology goals. The candidate should have prior experience in Eagle investment systems as a developer. The Work Itself * Partner with Business and Technology Leaders who understand Finance business needs and can take ownership of decision-making, team engagement, and coordinating with squad members for high-stakes Capital Markets projects. * Engage business stakeholders and technology partners to refine business requirements and enforce to data governance and design patterns aligned with the enterprise data strategy. * Order Management and Trade Workflow experience (Buy side or Sell side) * Understanding of front-office, middle-office and back-office workflows * Extensive experience in Eagle modules like STAR – Message Center, Web Panels, Automation Center and Ledger Granularity * Extensive experience in Reference Data Center(RDC) * Proven Understanding on Eagle Metadata & its workflows from STAR to PACE. * Prior Experience in integration projects with Front office trade bring together system like BlackRock, Bloomberg or Charles River Development. * Good knowledge on operational process in Eagle STAR Accounting for processing Equities, Fixed income bonds & Derivatives. * Should have experience in Eagle’S Data Integration Services (DIS), IWS & Eagle ML * Should have experience in writing Stored procedures, sophisticated queries in Oracle Database The Skills You Bring * 5+ years of experience in IT, preferably in the Finance business domain * 5+ years of experience in Eagle investment systems on modules like Message Center, RDC, PACE, Performance measurement & OLAP reporting. * Prior experience with financial services, preferably with Capital Markets, Treasury and Finance * 5+ years of experience in Data Design, Data Quality solutions, Metadata solutions, sophisticated analytics, and business intelligence solutions. * 5+ years of experience in databases/data warehousing (Oracle/SQL Server). * Experience with Agile Methodologies in a distributed team environment is a plus. * Proven understanding on AWS Cloud Infrastructure * Experience in all aspects of software delivery management – analysis, design, estimating, and implementing technology architectures How We’ll Have Your Back Ally's compensation program offers market-competitive base pay and pay-for-performance incentives (bonuses) based on achieving personal and company goals.
