Trane Technologies Plant Operations Intern - Engineering in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Summary:

Trane Technologies’ early career student program internships provide current college students with challenging assignments, leadership training, valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders and opportunities to network. Our 12-week summer internship opportunity offers candidates working toward their Bachelor's in selected disciplines (see below) exposure to variety assignments which could include: Lean Production, Planning Strategy, Operational Excellence, Ergonomics & Safety, Material Handling, Sales Inventory Operations Planning and Productivity Generation & Tracking.

This position has been designated as On-Site .

Successful Candidate’s Profile:

We are looking for performance-driven, innovative leaders who understand the importance of collaboration and customer focus. A successful candidate will exhibit the following:

• Collaborate with others to foster effective teamwork by linking own responsibilities to the team’s goals and needs - zeal for new information, knowledge, and experiences

• Manage time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently.

• Ensure effective and efficient completion of projects by planning and implementing courses of action with other functions and key stakeholders

• Pursuing a BS/BA in Industrial Engineering, Applied Science Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience with process flow mapping and data analytics

• Minimum Work Experience: At least one internship or work experience

• Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects

• U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Salary Information

Base Pay: $19.50 – $27.00 per hour
