The Department of Surgery at Atrium Health, is seeking a General Surgeon for Atrium Health General Surgery University in University, NC. The practice currently has a team of surgeons plus 2 APPs covering EGS needs 24/7 in the hospital. The elective practice will have 2 surgeons, 1 APP and 7 teammates. We are looking for someone with a team mindset and experience in a high volume practice who wants to make an impact in a growing suburban community of Charlotte.
Details about the opportunity include:
General surgery experience required
Position would be primarily based at Atrium Health University City and an ambulatory surgery center with plans to expand to a second facility nearby (currently under construction)
Looking for proactive surgeon who can effectively engage with referring physicians
Shared call 1:4
EGS Practice has been in place since 2020 with the focused elective practice opening in 2024
