Job Summary

Trane Charlotte is looking for a Material Handler to safely distribute products and materials to various locations throughout the plant. Materials may consist of purchased parts, in process parts, or finished goods. This posting is for a 1st shift position.

Responsibilities:

  • Moves parts or finished product and delivers mail packages to various departments and/or warehouse locations.

  • Operates material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, rolling carts, RF scanners, forklifts and stackers.

  • Maintains the required paperwork and documentation of all parts and materials moved in accordance with standard work.

  • Performs all material transactions in Oracle.

  • Ensures work and designated areas are maintained in a safe and neat manner. Complies with EHS policies.

  • Assists with the training and instruction of new Materials employees as needed.

  • Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Qualifications:

  • REQUIRED: Previous Material Handling experience required, forklift, stacker, and RIF scanner experience preferred

  • Must be able to read, write, and receive instructions in English.

  • Demonstrated computer proficiency.

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent

  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items, approximately 50 lbs is required.
