The Experiential Marketing & Events team sits within the Marketing Center of Excellence. Our mission is to create and deliver memorable and impactful experiences focused on driving brand immersion, business goals and objectives, and company engagement. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as we continue to advance Equitable’s brand with engaging and memorable event experiences, an integral part of the company’s overall marketing strategy.
Specific Responsibilities:
Participate in the strategic development of experiential marketing programs as part of an integrated marketing mix to drive client and consumer engagement and growth of our brand.
Partner with in-house agencies, vendors, business areas, and marketing teams on the creation planning and execution of experiential marketing activation efforts.
Work with Digital and Social Media team to define promotional strategy around tease / event / post-event content
Lead execution phase and ongoing management of experiential marketing programs to achieve KPIs.
Lead and assist with execution of programs by practicing efficient event planning skills.
Manage team digital tools part of experiential marketing ecosystem including event registration websites, mobile app platforms, travel booking software, and attendee reporting.
Manage vendors, SOWs, and budgets
Identify and champion new technologies and approaches to event execution and identify ways to improve event execution by infusion of new technologies
Superior knowledge of team subject matter and the ability to connect BAU to team and overall goals and objectives.
Able to improve processes and execute on initiatives
Ability to facilitates meetings and communicate results to team and management
Ability to present to a group of peers and immediate management and play a supporting role on presentation to higher levels of management.
Able to foster working relationships within the team and across business areas.
Candidates for this position will work remotely from a home based office.
Qualifications

Additional Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an events and/or experiential marketing role with a reputable, well-established company.
Proven ability to concept and execute world-class events and branded experiences of all sizes
Excellent project management skills and an ability to work under pressure
Superior vendor negotiation skills
Ability to solve problems quickly and independently when on-site at events
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage workload to strict deadlines, and operate effectively under remote management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PPT, Azure, Teams, Outlook, etc.)
Team player and creative thinker who can partner with internal team members as well as outside vendors
Understanding of project planning and execution methodologies
Able to travel domestically and internationally
