Ally Manager - Business Support in Charlotte, North Carolina

Position Description Our team is growing! To support this trajectory, we are seeking a Business Support Manager to assist the Chief of Staff for the Consumer and Commercial Banking (CCB) businesses. Immediately, this role will have an impact on supporting efforts to streamline strategic objectives, coordinating programs across the CCB businesses, and driving reporting and governance routines. The incumbent will work closely with business leaders and enterprise partners to improve existing materials and develop new, creative approaches for implementation across teams and sites. Job Responsibilities * Serve as a key support partner for the Chief of Staff * Coordinate agenda(s) and preparation of materials for routine monthly meetings * Partner closely with key functional leaders across the organization (finance, independent risk management/compliance, technology, audit, marketing, corporate workplace, internal/external communications, corporate strategy, legal, treasury, human resources, auto/insurance) * Prepare agendas and materials for routine business reviews – including leadership team level and executive level materials * Lead planning and execution for bank programs and events (e.g., annual leadership team offsite event, quarterly all team meetings, employee engagement efforts, etc.). * Help design and manage the content of a centralize CCB pulse site within SharePoint * Assist with culture-related work (internal and external communications, newsletter, ad-hoc communication, webpages, etc.) * Support diversity, equity and inclusion efforts (Financial and Social Inclusion, early talent programs, Employee Resource Groups, and other diversity initiatives) Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred * 5+ years’ experience (financial services industry preferred) * Can interpret business information and build a compelling story in PowerPoint levering that information * High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel * Ability to lead and inspire change and influence others * Highly effective oral and written communication skills (formal and informal) and ability to engage with all levels within the organization * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail * Exceptional time management skills; Highly organized and strong prioritization capabilities * High work ethic Ally Overview Ally Financial Inc.
