Job Summary

Assist the Managed Health Strategy, Engagement and Performance teammates in developing and implementing strategic engagement plans for: • Payors, Market Segments, Employers and DTE (Direct to Employer) services • Assigned business units across all regions of the organization (e.g., Population Health, etc.) • Special corporate projects, as needed

Also, support the Managed Health Engagement team in communicating results and updating report cards for all engagement efforts. Focus on customer needs through establishment of priorities based on target audience usage and input. Provide assistance to grow and enhance Advocate Health’s market presence and performance.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategic engagement plans and tactics.

  • 1)For specific engagement programs as identified by the Managed Health teammates, manage the implementation of events and health system projects for payors, employers, brokers, etc.

  • 2)Responsible for executing engagement events’ tactics and managing aspects of the event or program, including set-up, event collateral and project and stakeholder communications.

  • 3)Work with outside vendors to direct and manage projects.

  • Assist the Sales Team with collecting leads and tracking results of engagement efforts.

  • 1)Utilize tracking systems to monitor the effectiveness of programs or events, used to grow leads for specific facilities, events or segments.

  • 2)Create follow-up communications if needed post-event.

  • 4)Maintain regular reporting mechanisms to share with engagement team and other stakeholders.

  • Assist Product Development Team and product owners in being knowledgeable about our new products and services in Advocate Health’s product portfolio.

  • Listen and report feedback about our new products and services

  • Monitor department inbox for marketing requests.

  • 1)Daily review of incoming requests.

  • 2)Lead daily huddle meeting to review project distribution among team.

  • Track the marketing activities of key competitors at events.

  • 1)Analyze competitor information to determine significant new marketing efforts of local competitors.

  • Understand the health care environment and provide ad-hoc assistance, as needed, across the Managed Health division.

  • 1)Maintain a high level of knowledge about the healthcare industry and payor trends. Monitor engagement activities of key competitors within the region.

  • 2)Provide ad-hoc support on marketing initiatives across the department.

Education/Experience Required:

  • • BS/BA required. Healthcare experience preferred. One year of experience preferred.
