This position will cover jobs which provides system support for technical issues & initiatives related to large-scale applications, systems, databases and/or other technical products and services.
In this role, you will:
Lead complex, broad impact initiatives including provision of high level systems consultation for the technology teams
Work as key participant in large scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure for Systems Operations functional area
Review and analyze complex technical challenges, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, such as alternatives, enhancements, periodic systems reviews, or improvements to existing systems
Make decisions on technical changes and enhancements
Consult with engineering team on change design requiring solid understanding of technical process controls or standards that influence and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Technical experience supporting both proprietary and vender applications in UNIX, Windows environments
Ability to navigate, problem solve, and repair complex issues regarding trading systems
In depth understanding of SQL queries working in Microsoft SQL and Oracle environment with strength in database stability and ideal operation practices
Scripting knowledge with a focus on automation of daily reports, system startups, and alerting management
Previous working in a high paced environment where innovation is a key driver to production management
Ability to work varied shifts on rotation between evening and morning coverage
Familiarity with collateral management, wire processing, regulatory reporting platforms
Worked with Service Now - understands problem, incident and change management
Job Expectations:
Ability to work additional hours as needed

NY- New York Pay Range: $115,900 – 206,100 Annually
NC- Charlotte Pay Range: $96,600-171,800 Annually

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
