Individual Retirement designs and distributes annuity products to help individuals accumulate wealth and prepare for the income they will need in retirement. Key Job Responsibilities

  • Identifying client product and service needs.

  • Conducting competitive analysis.

  • Developing and enhancing the features of the product and working with internal and external business, home office and field sales management in coordinating product operations support, sales promotions and training activities.

  • Works independently with minimal guidance to develop high level specs.

  • Contributes to the development of specs for annuity products.

  • Takes an active role in the design and development of products and exploration of new product ideas.

  • Assist with market research with wholesalers, Advisors and consumers to determine viability of potential updates and product changes.

  • Provides guidance to Marketing in development of client surveys and focus groups to ensure optimal design and positioning of products

  • Liaison to marketing with product positioning and collateral material development.

  • Reviewer of all materials developed to ensure proper positioning and appropriate sales stories.

  • Develops training for Key Accounts and develops wholesaler training during product launches.

  • Contact for wholesalers, sales desk and Advisors on product questions.

  • Responsible for gathering and developing responses to NAF/Old Guard requests and inquiries.

  • Collaborate with team members to help achieve mission OKRs.

  • Execute on Backlog by using NWOW principles and practices.

  • Build a strong sense of collaboration and transparency in the team.

  • Have an open mind to experiment to learn by constantly build hypothesis to test with customers.

  • Challenge the “status quo” by testing assumptions and asking questions.

The base salary range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 4-8 years experience

  • Self-starting with ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a demanding environment

  • Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills to all levels of the organization

  • Excellent and accurate communications tailored to the audience and able to influence more senior members a must

  • Able to accurately, concisely and confidentially represent internal data to external parties.

  • Ability to adopt the Agile mindset and behaviors, as outlined below

  • Self-starter with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Creativity and ability to think outside the box

  • Proven experience with influencing change though leveraging agile, adaptive leadership models and change management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong Knowledge of Annuities Products and Distribution preferred

  • Project Management experience preferred
