Lowe's Information Security Analyst - Communications in Charlotte, North Carolina

As an Information Security Analyst - Communications within the Information Security Group, you will play a critical role in translating technical communications into clear and concise messaging for various internal and external stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with multiple security project teams to provide communication and transformation support for key enterprise-wide initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing communication plans and templates that align with organizational goals and building a strong network across all security teams and external business units.

What You’ll Do

As an Information Security Analyst, you will;

  • Translate technical communications to non-technical messaging for various internal and external audience types, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and relevance.

  • Work closely with multiple security project teams to provide communication and transformation support for key enterprise-wide initiatives, including but not limited to:

    • Cybersecurity awareness campaigns
    • Implementation of new security technologies
    • Incident response and crisis communication
  • Develop and implement communication plans and templates that align with organizational goals, project timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Corporate Communications, IT, legal, compliance, and human resources, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment of communication efforts.

  • Monitor and analyze communication effectiveness, soliciting feedback from stakeholders and making adjustments as necessary to improve clarity and engagement.

  • Build and maintain a strong network across all security teams and external business units, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a unified approach to information security communication.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to information security communication, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on communication strategies and tactics within the Information Security Group, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.

To be successful in this role you will;

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, information technology, or related field

  • Proven experience in communications, marketing, or related fields, with a focus on cybersecurity or information technology preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear and compelling messaging for diverse audiences.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and building relationships across all levels of an organization.

  • Knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and communication tools/software.

  • Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or equivalent are a plus.

Where You’ll Be

  • Associates are required to relocate to the Charlotte region to foster collaboration and facilitate improved testing and support.

  • Lowe’s supports a Flex Office concept where in-person work is required two days per week at the Charlotte Tech Hub.

  • Most business meetings are planned around the Eastern time zone.

Pay Range for CA, CO, HI, NJ, NY, WA: $75,300.00 - $143,100.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
