About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Sr. Finance Manager to lead the Advisor Compensation Finance team for Client Relationship Group in Wealth & Investment Management as part of Wells Fargo Advisors.
In this role, you will:
Manage and develop a team focused on financial support for advisor compensation plans and associated expense including tracking key financial metrics, budgeting and forecasting, and providing data for operating and strategic reviews
Serve as the finance leader and partner for key executives
Develop and maintain financial models that help guide leader decision-making related to advisor compensation plans and advisor recruiting deals
Develop strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning
Make decisions on framework to deliver key forecasting projections as well as management of financial reporting associated with advisor compensation
Maintain effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards
Lead implementation of complex projects
Collaborate with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives to ensure compliance and manage risk
Lead team to achieve objectives
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Finance
Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
6+ years of Finance experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years of Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Economics
Relevant experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, business analytics, and budgeting
Experience in financial services industry, preferably in wealth management
Ability to think strategically, implement, and deliver business objectives
Focus on continuous improvement
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective partnerships with all levels of team members
