Atrium Health Experienced APP (PRN Float) - Atrium Health Work/Campus Care Solutions - Cabarrus County, NC in Charlotte, North Carolina

We are currently seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant to join our Direct to Employer/Campus Care team at on site clinics in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Current Opening: PRN Float - Must be able to float to various clinics across the northern market (Cabarrus County region), with the ability to pick up occasional shifts in the Charlotte Metro region.

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts available. There are also opportunities to work with our on-site occupational medicine events team.

  • Hours: The various clinic hours range between 7am-7pm, minimum requirement of 32 hours every 6 weeks

  • Additional staff may include: RN and/or CMA on staff

  • Practices see traditional acute episodic care and basic primary care for ages 6-month old-seniors. Some locations may not see children as young as 6 mo.

  • Practice performs some occupational medicine services, specialized physicals and workers' compensation cases

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care

  • Must be able to work autonomously

  • DOT Certification (must obtain after hire if not already certified, within first 90 days)

  • NC and/or SC Licensure and DEA

  • American Heart Association BLS
