The Amendment team at Equitable is looking for an Amendment Analyst to process incoming requests ranging in low to high complexity and involve into support of Contracts processing during peak season. Our team is responsible for all inforce changes to our Equitable group clients throughout their lifecycle with Equitable. Key Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Employee Benefits Amendments Team with the processing of revisions to our group customers’ benefit plans.

  • Review and complete incoming requests for all Employee Benefits group-level changes. This includes updates to plan design, rates, enrollment, and administrative changes.

  • Support and grow relationships with your internal customers (Account Management, Distribution, Customer Service, Client Onboarding, Underwriting).

  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Underwriting, Billing, Commissions, EDI, Contracts, Account Management, Customer Service, Client Onboarding, IT) to ensure downstream changes are completed timely and accurately for all assigned work.

  • Maintain acceptable production turnaround times, balancing workload and prioritization of requests.

  • Provide timely responses to inquiries in our Amendments team mailbox.

  • You will quickly gain insight on many end-to-end business functions within Employee Benefits. Our team engages with most operational areas within Equitable Employee Benefits.

  • You will utilize multiple Equitable home-grown systems in your day-to-day. Your ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to changes (we’re constantly evolving) is critical to your success.

  • You will utilize Microsoft Excel often, mid-level to advanced skills will come in handy.

  • You will be asked to investigate data discrepancies occasionally, expect some detective work.

The base salary range for this position is $46,000 - $67,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience.

  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple priorities

  • Eagerness to learn new skills and tools, willingness to adapt to change

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Team player

Preferred Qualifications

  • Mid-level to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe, Salesforce (preferred)

Skills

Document Management: Knowledge of document management; ability to categorize, integrate, update, document and distribute business information in a secure, effective way.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
