Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or High School graduate or equivalent Required

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Refer to Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096

Additional Skills Required: Medical terminology and CPR-basic. Ability to operate electronic and computer-based equipment.

Ability to recognize technical inferior EKG and take corrective action as appropriate. Excellent customerservice and communication skills.Demonstrate thorough knowledge of cardiac monitor interpretation, skills, and abilities. Must practice

appropriate communication skills and sensitivity to patient's needs. Must demonstrate knowledge andskills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age, principles of growth and development over thelife span and to accommodate cultural diversity among the patients being served. Must be able to assessand interpret data about the patient’s status, to identify each patient’s population specific or behavioralneeds and provide the care as needed. Must be able to effectively teach others on cardiac rhythms.MUSE system. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
