Lowe’s Summer Internship Program Overview

Lowe's 2025 Summer Internship Program offers a challenging, project-based opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to enhance their understanding of the retail business world through valuable, hands-on experience with a FORTUNE® 50 company. The internship will provide broad learning, experience, organizational knowledge, and business acumen. We are looking for:

The summer internship program begins with orientation on May 27th and concludes on August 1st. All internships are paid opportunities. And qualified interns will be eligible for Lowe's housing benefit.

This role has potential for conversion after graduation into a full-time, entry-level position as part of Lowe's Launchpad program for those that successfully complete their internship and required education. Lowe's Launchpad is a rotational opportunity designed to help emerging technologists strengthen their tech skills, engage with tech leaders, and learn more about Lowe’s culture while advancing their career. Successful completion of this program could result in final placement in just 14-months.

Digital Product Management Intern:

The Lowe’s Digital Product Management team helps plan and forecast the production and/or marketing of Lowe’s products at all stages of their life cycle. Members of this team play a direct role in delivering the right home improvement products to customers. The Digital Product Management Undergraduate Internship is intended to provide an opportunity to learn and grow through project work while immediately contributing and adding value to an enterprise-caliber product team.

As an intern you could expect to participate in projects and activities including but not limited to:

  • Supporting the product development process as a part of the overall product domain strategy

  • Using customer feedback, business strategy, data/analytics, user experience, and technology to create seamless customer experiences

  • Assisting in defining product requirements and communicating those requirements to the user experience and technology delivery teams

  • Monitoring product launches to make recommendations for the prioritization of the product backlog they support

  • Attending business reviews, supplying product/feature results as necessary

  • Providing input into business cases when new products/features are being developed

  • Representing the customer needs and requirements to drive feature implementation and development with associated technology teams

  • Clearly defining and writing user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Understanding the “why behind each Feature and working with the leaders and Product Managers to understand the roadmap and supporting KPIs

  • Using analytics to monitor product KPIs and identify opportunities for testing and product enhancements based on results

  • Participating in the team demo and retrospective

  • Providing input into business case documentation

Education and/or Experience

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or a similar degree with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or May 2026

  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA or equivalent is required

  • Experience in or exposure to product management, business analysis, or product marketing through relevant coursework or projects

  • Aptitude gathering and reporting data and the ability to translate data into quantifiable actions

  • Strong collaborative, innovative, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills are required

  • Relevant internship and experience is a plus, as is experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization

  • Proficient in MS Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point)
