TIAA CW Application Architect in Charlotte, North Carolina
This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.
This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting.
The anticipated term of this engagement will be 6 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.
CW-Info Systems Architect II
Designs architectural roadmaps for enterprise architecture(EA), in accordance with enterprise strategies and (EA) processes, while analyzing client requirements and collaborating with R&D divisions to provide ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Designing enterprise architectural roadmaps, and aligning these with enterprise strategies, business objectives, (EA) standards, processes and methodologies.
Analyzing change requirements and IT opportunities in enterprise business processes; providing resolutions for (EA)improvements by utilizing new technological applications.
Providing advice and explanations for customers in business process design and system development, including application architecture and integration architecture.
Working with other (EA) staff, experts and decision makers to accurately define client requirements; providing ongoing support for data, applications and system client requests.

General Architectural Skills and Experience
Advanced Solution Design and System Integration Architecture experience including:
Development of Architectural Guiding Principles , Viewpoints and Patterns
Conducting Architecture Reviews to assess compliance and adoption of these thing.
Assessing Vendor/Product/Technology Suitability in a given business context
Designing Systems with High Availability achieved through Resiliency Designs and Predefined Degraded Modes of Operation
Application Architecture Skills and Experience

Roles and Responsibilities
Model ‘A’ Requirements: Architectural Policies and Reviews
Ability to clearly define, document, socialize and help apply Architectural Guidance for AppDev Teams.
This will include: Guiding Principles , Viewpoints / Leans , Standards and Best Practices , Policies , etc.
Ability to document emerging Application Architecture Patterns and assist AppDev Teams with their adoption.
Conduct Conceptual Architecture and Logical Architecture Reviews .
Identify new and emerging Patterns for Pattern Library inclusion
Model ‘B’ Requirements: Architect Practitioner
These requirements are important if we decide to adopt the Embedded Architect model.
Define , Document (diagram) and Justify Solution Design Architectures with an emphasis on High Availability , Resiliency , Omnichannel Design (foster composability, re-use), DR Capable , Future Extensible and optimized Cost Management . Other Architectural Deliverables

Base Pay Range: $74.13/hr. - $85.95/hr.
