Reporting to the Director of Treasury Operations, the Corporate Treasury Senior Manager will be responsible to carry out analytical, operational, control and workflow tasks related to Equitable’s Corporate Treasury function. Primary objective is to support system and process optimization surrounding treasury operations and project management/implementations in support of systems and payments automation efforts, while leading by example and coaching a team that nurtures and develops talent.

Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive optimization for operational efficiency and maximize functionality of treasury workstation/TMS.

  • Manage relationships with bank partners and internal stakeholders for treasury and custodial services.

  • Develop reporting and modeling for dynamic bank fee analysis, account structure rationalization, etc. resulting in recommendations to reduce operating expenses and improve company efficiency.

  • Lead project management and systems integration for payments automation, reporting and forecasting.

  • Champion onshore and offshore staff for professional development with treasury prowess.

  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders from various finance, business, and investment teams.

In Office Work Schedule: This position will be working in office 2-3 days/week.

The base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $130,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting required.

  • 7 years of experience as a Corporate Treasury senior analyst with a public corporation.

  • Operational experience with Treasury Management System (TMS) workstations and cash management.

  • Fintech project management experience as team lead or project manager.

  • Experience with cash & liquidity management, eBAM, bank fee analysis and other operational functions.

  • Provide impeccable business partner support, exercise sound judgement, demonstrate financial acumen and communicate rationale for decision-making and/or recommendations to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • M.Sc. Finance or MBA with a specialization in Finance.

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation and financial services experience.

  • Familiarity with fixed income investments, derivatives and collateral back-office operations.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills and technical abilities using Excel, Visio, treasury workstations & RPA.

  • Provide impeccable business partner support, exercise sound judgement, demonstrate financial.

  • Established management skills and the ability to influence and present to both junior and senior audiences.

  • Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to problem solve in real-time.

Skills

Bank Account Features and Services: Knowledge of concepts, features and advantages of different types of bank accounts such as checking and savings account; ability to provide bank accounts services and solutions for individual and commercial clients.

Banking Strategy Management (BSM): Knowledge of banking strategy management (BSM); ability to use various management techniques and approaches to develop, implement, and evaluate effective banking strategies that impact overall banking operations.

Cash Management: Knowledge of the principles and methodology of cash management; ability to use tools, techniques and processes to administer and invest short-term financial inflows and outflows.

Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.

Liquidity Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools, and techniques used to determine the degree of liquidity risk in a financial institution; ability to identify, measure, monitor and control the institution’s exposure to liquidity risk.

Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

Treasury Services: Knowledge of treasury services; ability to properly use treasury products and services and adopt business practices that are in use by banks, financial services institutions, major corporations, governments and other entities.
