Our TEMPORARY/PRN Clerical Pandemic position include:
Clerical Vaccination support: Patient Registration: At registration, enters complete accurate patient demographic and insurance information in system. Greet patient, verify, and correct any demographics and insurance information, copy insurance card, and ensure copy is added to patient medical record.; basic computer skills for EPIC patient documentation, ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume mass vaccination clinic; ability to understand and adhere to clinic operation protocols and plans; build trust/rapport with children and parents/caregivers; ability to listen, observe, communicate, understand, build trust with staff and the public; and ability to work in a proactive team environment in a position that requires a high level of accountability; and take directions from site leadership.
Vaccination Site Days/Hours:
Tuesday 7am – 3 pm (Vaccine)
Thursday 10am – 6pm (Vaccine)
Some Saturdays and extended hours for special events
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Active enrollment in an ACPE accredited school/college of pharmacy, completion of second year curriculum at an accredited school/college of pharmacy, and minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale on pharmacy school coursework required.
Experience: Hospital or community pharmacy experience as well as pharmacy technician(CPhT) Certification and/or NC BOB Registration preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Completion of an ACPE accredited education program with injection technique and response to vaccine reactions (ex: APhA Pharmacybased Immunization Delivery and basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation certified required.
Additional skills required: Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations as needed; meet physical examination standards and requirements
