Ally Business Line Risk Senior Analyst in Charlotte, North Carolina

Position Description This position leads one or more business line risk programs within Ally Lending business and will be primarily tasked with the identification and assessment of various aspects of risk for the build out of Line of Credit capabilities and system of record replacement. In addition, implementing, enhancing and maintaining aspects of risk programs which may include Regulatory Change Management, Business Line Governance Processes, New Product Risk Assessments, Complaint Review and Oversight, Regulatory / Operational Controls, Risk Self-Assessment, State Licenses / Exam Coordination, Transaction Testing, or other risk programs. Job Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): As part of the Ally Lending Business Line Risk Team, leading one or more key risk programs described in the Position Summary for the Ally Lending business. The position will be responsible for the following: * Identification and assessment of risk areas for a build out of Line of Credit and system of record replacement project. * Implementing, enhancing, and reporting results for significant portions of risk programs / activities * Maintaining work in an organized, accurate and detailed fashion, to support both policy compliance and prioritization of deliverables. * Assist management in the development, enhancement, and adoption of risk processes. Identify and implement risk best practices. * Collaborate with other Ally Lending teams to identify risks related to product or experience changes, and to identify and plan for appropriate controls. * Work with Ally Independent Risk / Operational Risk resources, Legal and other Ally business functions to address business needs and risk initiatives. * Developing reporting on risk programs and presenting risks and results to senior leadership within Ally Lending and to Independent Risk / Operational Risk teams aligned with Ally Lending. Qualifications and Experience * BA/BS from an accredited university required * >3 years’ relevant experience in financial services, e.g. Operational Risk Management, Compliance, or Internal Audit, including experience with some or all Operational Risk Programs listed under Essential Duties and Responsibilities. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Collaborative with a willingness to share ideas, learn, and teach. * Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with teammates in Lending and IRM /ORM. * Self-motivated, capable of working without daily supervision, flexible in daily responsibilities and working hours and willingness to adapt to meet the needs of Ally Lending. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; Prefer candidate with advanced excel skills and Archer system or comparable risk management application. * Demonstrated analytical, documentation, project management and organization skills. * Prefer Experience using analytical tools to track, analyze, report and visualize information and data.
