Wells Fargo Auto Relationship Management Strategy & Support Senior Manager in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

About this role:

The Business Execution Sr. Manager, reporting to the Auto Relationship Management Strategy & Support Director will collaborate with the Wells Fargo Partner General Manager to support the strategic partner's Sales organization in driving sales effectiveness, in adherence to Wells Fargo's policies and procedures.

The role will work closely with the Wells Fargo Partner General Manager and various business partners to evaluate strategic processes, and ensure clear communication and proper execution on behalf and in support of the strategic partner's sales team. The role will be responsible for leading a team that will support the onboarding and training of new relationship managers.

The leader and their team will evaluate the ongoing development needs of the Sales team members including the development and deployment of ongoing training and coaching materials. The leader and their team will run point on any initiative or process change necessary or required to enhance and grow the business.

The leader is expected to develop and closely monitor metrics to manage and monitor the effectiveness of the sales teams. The leader and their team will support and provide the appropriate guidance around sales risk related issues included but not limited Wells Fargo's policies and procedures, Risk & Control Self-Assessments, issue management and working with Auto Controls and other key partners to ensure the proper management of risk activities. In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop a team of Lead Business Execution Consultants while ensuring successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity and visibility

  • Engage functional leaders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo's policies and business line objectives

  • Identify potential risks when implementing change along with developing mitigation strategies and plans

  • Identify and recommend opportunities for Business Execution process improvement and risk control development

  • Determine appropriate strategies and actions of multiple business groups to meet moderate to high complex deliverables

  • Interpret procedures and processes, and provide leadership to strategize and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity, and risk

  • Collaborate with and influence the strategic partner, functional business partners, leaders, and executive management to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution

  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

  • Interpret, develop, and manage a range of policies and procedures for functions and processes specific to the strategic partner

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years Management experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Auto industry experience, ideally across sales, relationship management, strategy and support, and originations teams

  • Experience successfully partnering with sales senior leadership

  • Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives enterprise-wide

  • Experience managing in a complex, matrixed environment

  • Proven ability to facilitate high impact conversations, navigate conflict and negotiate for an outcome that balances the needs of the business

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Experience building relationships across lines of businesses, influencing partners, as well as providing credible and effective challenge

  • Strong influence and consensus building skills with senior stakeholders

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a concise and clear fashion, and deliver effective presentations with clear storytelling

  • Operational Excellence or RCSA participation as a process manager or process owner

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills

  • Familiarity with interpreting and analyzing data using Tableau

  • Experience utilizing Salesforce to analyze performance and monitor Sales team activity

  • Good PC skills with the aptitude to learn new systems quickly

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule
