Job Summary
SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE POSITION starting at $8K(External candidates only)
We are seeking an Athletic Trainer to work in a high school or outreach setting. Under the direction of the Sports Medicine Supervisor, they are responsible for the day-to-day medical coverage in the high school or outreach setting. They use preventative measures appropriately; provide standard immediate care procedures used in emergency situations; clinical evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning. Employ appropriate assessment outcomes measures to determine effectiveness of the outreach program; determines appropriate return to play of athletes and active population. Management of head injuries and concussions; referral to appropriate medical professionals to ensure optimal level of care; all duties and responsibilities performed under the supervision of a directing physician. Also works collaboratively with the Sports Medicine Team to ensure service excellence for all customers of the athletic training outreach program.

Qualifications
Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Graduate from an accredited athletic training program, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
Experience: Two years of relevant experience, preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current AT licensure in appropriate state with the ability to acquire additional state licenses, required. Successfully pass NATA BOC exam, required.
Additional Skills Required: Excellent Customer Service, Written and Oral Communication, basic computer application skills, and ability to multitask. Hold or ability to hold appropriate state licensure. Hold or ability to hold AHA BLS First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification.
Additional Skills Preferred: Hold or ability to hold CSCS, PES, CES certification(s).
