Position Purpose: Identify and facilitate enterprise wide process improvement activities utilizing LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies to design and improve processes that support business infrastructure and performance.
Identifies, develops, and leads/executes process improvement opportunities utilizing continuous improvement principles, LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies, and change management practices
Monitors process improvement projects and facilitates cross functional improvement project teams ensuring deadlines and objective are met, results are sustained, and return on investment is realized
Consults with leadership and provides analysis and advice on a variety of performance and process related topics
Works nimbly to support overall organization, to include ownership of Statements of Work for programs
Performs detailed analysis of workflows and data to offer solutions for improvement
Provide training and coaching to project teams and functional areas to assist with the implementation, maintenance, and continuation of process improvement and continuous improvement activities
Interfaces with project stakeholders to identify resources, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and provide key performance indicators and project status updates
Identifies, communicates, and corrects gaps in processes and provides guidance to address these gaps
Partners with various groups to deliver results to the business, to include assisting other groups/teams with projects
Writes and delivers effective communications to all levels of business to ensure support, awareness, and effectiveness of initiatives
Investigates variances and is able to explain results to various stakeholders
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of LEAN, Six Sigma or related process improvement experience, preferably in the healthcare industry. Previous working knowledge of process mapping and design, statistical applications and project management software.
Licenses/Certifications: LEAN/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
