Position Summary

This position provides support for the both the Benefit Consultants that draft contract documents, and the business partners that need project support or guidance associated with contract drafting. This role includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Effective collaboration and engagement with Product and Regulatory Approvals around state filings. This includes coordination and recommendations concerning single case filings to address unique customer needs.

  • Review and identify variability in filed language, identify gaps between language and product offerings, and/or language and CCI coding.

  • Facilitate discussion between Sales, Legal, Product, Medical Directors, Drafting Support, or Compliance around contract questions or issues.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact in resolving questions from Benefit Consultants (contract drafters) on Master Services Agreements, Financial Agreements, Policies, Booklet-Certificates, Schedules of Benefits and other documents issued to Plan Sponsors by our Contract Drafting team.

  • Engages with Legal and Medical Directors to stencil custom language for non-standard benefits that require special handling.

  • Respond to all Help Me Draft questions through the HMD Quickbase within a three-business day timeframe to support prompt delivery of contract documents to our plan sponsors.

Required Qualifications

  • Contract Drafting and e.Publishing application experience.

  • Strong familiarity with Aetna issued Booklet-Certificates, Schedule of Benefits, Group Policies, and Master Service Agreements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience in reading, researching or analysis of benefit language.

  • Strong familiarity with federal and state laws that govern language in our contract documents.

  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with upstream business partners to address customer pain points and/or eliminate waste.

  • Ability to provide coaching or training to Benefit Consultants to help them navigate through complex processes and drive improved end-to-end production and quality.

  • Ability to perform basic database management tasks within the HMD Quickbase, run reports, identify trends in incoming problem reporting, and promote best practices to eliminate adverse customer impact and avert potential compliance issues.

Education

  • High School Diploma or combination of equivalent working experience and education.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
