Job Description:

We're looking for professional Software Developer who has experience leading teams that work in the exciting cyber domain. In this role you will use your full-stack experience to support your team as you all work to write clear, concise, functioning and fully commented code that turns our Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) customer's requirements for cloud-based applications into reality. Your team will focus on developing and improving a network visualization application that allows warfighters to better understand network topologies and identify nefarious activity.

You will have the opportunity to put the following skills to use supporting today's warfighter:

  • Convert customer requirements, including informal requirements, into total systems solutions that fit within the technical, schedule, and cost constraints of the program

  • Operate in an agile development environment using DevSecOps practices

  • Collaborate with program management and other technical staff to plan sprints

  • Conduct and participate in design reviews, sprint demonstrations, and after-action reviews

  • Develop scalable web-based data visualization and analytic platforms using Java, JavaScript (TypeScript), React, scalable databases (Hadoop, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL), Docker, Python

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance

  • B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. (A combination of education and demonstrable experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.)

  • 2+ years professional development experience

  • Experience developing in a Linux environment (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)

  • Knowledge of networking concepts including the OSI

  • Agile project management with Jira and Confluence

  • Experience with:

  • Git, Gitlab, Gitbucket, or Bitbucket

  • Node.js, React, HTML/CSS, JSON, Typescript, Java and Python

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance

  • Experience with:

  • Scala

  • Jest

  • XML

  • YAML

  • Elasticsearch

  • SQL, MySQL, or SQLite

  • Networking

  • Deployment experience with Ansible and/or Docker

  • UI/UX experience

The anticipated annualized full time target compensation (median) for this position is: $135,000.00.Benefits for this position include: medical, dental, vision, paid time off and 401K.Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
