MetLife T3 Program Management Lead in Cary, North Carolina

Job Location:

  • Cary, NC (Preferred); Alternate locations include New York, NY, Bridgewater, NJ, Whippany, NJ.

Role Description:

This critical role, and member of the leadership team within Global Technology Transformation, is a strategic lead driving critical pillars of MetLife’s Technology Talent Transformation program. The individual is responsible for partnering with our CIO teams for T3 Program deliverables throughout the program phases of transition, transformation and transition. This role will focus on ensuring Enterprise enablement and alignment for our CIO teams as they continue on our overall IT Strategy Transformation. Partnership across the Enterprise along with partnering alongside two, new strategic partners is critical to the programs success. We are looking for an individual who is passionate towards delivering this transformation program for his/her technology peers, clearly communicating strategy, and executing on a defined roadmap, while motivating and enabling associates to do the same. Responsibilities :

  • Coordinating/Oversight of Transition to Strategic vendor

  • Coordination across key stakeholders inclusive of CIO, Strategic Vendor(s), Incumbent vendors and enabling areas

  • Coordinating CIO Governance and aligning to program Governance

  • Enablement/Support of Transformational work

  • Partner alongside CIO teams and transformation areas to ensure planning and implementation success and enterprise alignment

  • Support/assist in planning, facilitation and communication with all key stakeholders and participants

  • Partner with CIO teams to coordinate/facilitate Employee culture/messaging

  • Coordination/Alignment of Transition and Future state Operating Model and Organizational Design

  • Partner with CIO teams to develop leadership and organizational models that align new Campuses as part of go forward model

  • Partner alongside CIO teams and transformation areas to ensure planning and implementation success and enterprise alignment

  • Support program management of consultant conversions to FTEs

  • Risk/Issue management

  • Support CIO risks and issues management and leverage experiences across the enterprise to support solutioning

  • Ensure auditability and adherence to all processes and artifacts

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

  • 1 - 3 years in one or more of the following functions: Strategy development, planning, portfolio management, business governance, program management, technology

  • Experience with managing both significant scale of IT and non-IT investments, workstreams and delivery in a large, complex Enterprise environment

  • Experience with large-scale transformation and managing complex projects, combining process, organizational change, and technology workstreams

  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities, including problem structuring, analysis, and ability to translate information into insights, actionable implications and recommendations.

  • Strong interpersonal and partnering skills, including an ability to build relationships at all levels and work cross-organizationally and influence others.

  • Demonstrated success working with multiple stakeholders toward shared objectives and outcomes.

  • Strong/Superior written and oral communication skills, with an ability to communicate effectively with senior audiences

  • Strong passion and enthusiasm, with an ability to motivate and energize others to action.

The wage range for applicants for this position is [the more specific figure (for example (only): $80,000) or range within which the hiring manager reasonably expects to hire (for example (only): $70,000 - $85,000)] . The role is eligible for incentive compensation under the sales incentive plan for your position.
