Job Summary

The Management Consulting Marketing Strategy Lead ensures effective, consistent, on-brand communications on key initiatives, optimizes customer content across all channels, and ensures all assigned programs/projects are executed timely and within budget. Responsible for developing, facilitating, implementing and monitoring strategy for Black & Veatch Management Consulting. Tasks include opportunity identification; developing strategy for the pursuit of both new business and maintenance of current clients; solicitation, selection and monitoring of new initiatives/ markets.

Management Consulting Marketing Strategy Lead will:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to promote and increase brand identity to maximize company sales and contribute to profitable growth

  • Develop competitor, client and market intelligence influencing strategy creation and execution throughout the division and coordination of growth initiatives

  • Lead marketing strategy development including translation of business strategy to marketing strategies and channel recommendations for brand marketing programs

  • Drive the development of and executes marketing programs, including a campaign mix of advertising, email, social, media relations, content syndication, trade shows, and PPC/SEO to build brand awareness and increase preference

  • Develop programs that advance target customers/prospects through defined segments (lifecycle stage or behavior-based segments)

  • Develop/communicate messaging, positioning, and brand promise consistently throughout all programs/campaigns for assigned initiative

  • Manage execution of content marketing program including calendar and supporting channel amplification of strategic content (in partnership with Social Media & Content team)

  • Work closely with channel and operations

  • Drive ongoing collaboration and coordination with Black and Veatch Corporate Marketing and Communications (MarCom) as well as marketing teams within BV Market Segments to align efforts at brand level

  • Work closely with channel and operations experts across MarCom (social media, public relations/media, marketing automation, website, events, analytics) to optimize processes and campaign execution

  • Work with content and creative teams to develop engaging campaign content

  • Provide proactive consultative recommendations on marketing best practices

Location: US-Based Remote in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Portland, or Raleigh/Cary, with ability to travel up to 20%

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage B2B marketing frameworks to structure demand generation, lead qualification and sales conversion marketing strategies

  • Understand the customer decision journey and how to translate that information into developing exciting and engaging content and marketing plans

  • Understand the purpose of different marketing channels; understand how to prioritize and optimize outcomes by integrating marketing channels

  • Allocate marketing spend across marketing plans and ensuring marketing investments generate appropriate return for the business; partner with Marketing Analytics to optimize marketing campaigns

  • Build measurable integrated plans; using test and control frameworks; analyze performance; Link integrated marketing measurement plans back to business metrics and objectives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in marketing or related field

  • Experienced inData driven marketing, CRM experience, business strategy and excellent/comprehensive project management and communication skills; good decision skills; maintains strong relationships

  • Ability to translate sales execution plans into actionable, measurable marketing plans

  • Hands on experience with digital marketing strategies/tactics such as paid social, search engine marketing (SEM), media buying, video, social and display marketing

  • Working knowledge of LinkedIn/Facebook/Google Ad words marketing campaigns

  • Able to use marketing performance data to drive and adjust strategy; Intermediate working knowledge of Excel (for qualitative and quantitative analytics)

  • Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution

  • Experience with Wrike or similar project management software

  • Experience with Google Analytics

  • Strategic thinker able to write effective strategy briefs and drive executional excellence to deliver best in class, impactful marketing assets.

  • Strong ability to communicate and influence at all levels

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication or related field or equivalent experience

  • At least9 years progressive experiencemanaging integrated campaigns, project management, and/or campaign launch management

  • Experience with Eloqua and Salesforce.com

  • Ability to travel up to 20%
