MetLife Executive Assistant in Cary, North Carolina
Job Location: Must live within a commutable distance of the Cary NC Office
Hybrid: Monday Tuesday Thursday - IN OFFICE
Key Responsibilities
Manage the VP's calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings with internal teams, clients, and external partners
Arrange domestic and international travel itineraries, including booking flights, hotels, and ground transportation
Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and other documents on behalf of the VP
Serve as the primary point of contact for the VP, fielding inquiries and requests from across the organization
Provide administrative support, including expense reporting, HR tasks, and organizational management
Assist with special projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed
Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills
Required:
Must live within a commutable distance of the Cary NC Office
5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant
Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint, and internet skills
Strong Excel skills for creating and working with spreadsheets, data and basic analytics
Ability to work in fast paced environment and ability to recognize opportunities to improve and stream-line processes
Excellent organizational, time management skills, written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to multi-task with a keen eye to detail and handle heavy flow of incoming and outgoing requests for meetings or information
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Self-starter; Ability to independently anticipate needs, look ahead, plan for contingencies, manage concurrent tasks, prioritize tasks and follow-up
Superb inter-personal skills, demonstrating an ease with interacting professionally - at senior levels - within and across functional teams
Flexibility to move between competing priorities as needed/directed and strong customer-centricity skills
