State of Minnesota Registered Nurse (casual/on-call) in Carlton, Minnesota

Job Summary ## Job Summary This is an intermittent (casual/on-call) position working as needed for coverage. Shifts may include days, evenings, and nights. Community Addiction Recovery Enterprise (CARE) in Carlton, MN is seeking dedicated and person centered RN to expand our team. CARE Carlton is a women’s-only facility, specializing in the delivery of treatment for women with chemical dependency. Along with inpatient and outpatient services, the program offers adult learning for clients, such as parenting skills, domestic violence prevention and recovery, healthy relationships, and spirituality. The Registered Nurse will provide professional nursing care and assessments to Community Addiction Recovery Enterprise (CARE) clients so that the client's health is restored, promoted and maintained. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Providing supervision and coordination of care on assigned shift, so that standards of care are maintained. * Participating as an active member of the multi-disciplinary team, developing a therapeutic relationship with clients and providing accurate, current client concerns, cares, and/or other pertinent information to the team. * Providing for client safety and maintaining a safe, drug free therapeutic environment. * Administering medications and performing treatments. * Providing chemical dependency and psychiatric care to clients as identified in Treatment Plan. Qualifications ## Minimum Qualifications *Due to the nature of the program, only FEMALE applicants will be considered To qualify, applicants must: * Be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota;* AND* * Per MN Statutes, must: * Be at least 18 years old; AND * Be able to pass a criminal background check: AND * Sign a statement attesting that you have been free of chemical use problems for at least two years immediately preceding hire. ## Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor’s of Nursing Degree. * Experience with persons with substance abuse. ## Additional Requirements To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.
