Maintenance Technician III

job summary:

Our growing client is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for a full time employment opportunity. We have partnered with one of the most growing companies in the west coast that is hiring due to growth and expansion!

This role will in the Carlsbad area and fully onsite.

The client is a manufacturer of diagnostic healthcare products. The company made world news in the 2020 calendar year for being involved in COVID-19 antigen testing! The client recently opened a brand new facility over 120,000 square footage!

Our client is actively interviewing candidates and hoping to have employees started in March 2021!

The top technical skills that are needed for this role is:

• Experience with machine shop equipment

• Experience conducting routine maintenance and repairs on automation equipment

• Troubleshooting equipment electrical systems

• Providing assistance with equipment set-up, material change-out, line clearance, and basic operation.

Below are the two different shift times the customer has available:

• 4:00am-1:00pm from Wednesday thru Saturday

• 3:30pm-12:30am from Sunday thru Wednesday

responsibilities:

• Responds to trouble calls from Production Operators providing assistance with equipment set-up, material change-out, line clearance, and basic operation.

• Coordinating efforts with outside vendors and contract service providers to accomplish objectives

• Performs routine preventative maintenance on production equipment utilizing the MP2 system.

• Experience working with and troubleshooting equipment electrical systems

• Experience with machine shop equipment, power tools and their associated safety procedures

• Experience conducting routine maintenance and repairs on automation equipment
