Living Resources is seeking Direct Support Professional Staff Relief for our Albany, Schenectady, Saratoga, Rensselaer and Columbia county Group Homes & Day Programs.
Group Home Staff Relief must be able to work at least 12 hours per week up to a maximum of 28 hours per week. The available hours would be on the weekends and/or some evenings, depending on the needs in our group homes. Staff Relief are required to work at least one day on the weekend. Our Direct Support Professional Staff Relief support individuals in our Group Homes with their daily activities, including personal care and work closely with the individuals we support to help them achieve personal goals that allow them to live as independently as possible.
Day Program Staff Relief, in our Day Community Opportunities Programs and Site Base Day Habilitation Programs, would work a minimum of 16 hours a week and a maximum of 28 hours per week. The available hours would be during the weekdays, Monday - Friday.
Provide a home-like atmosphere conducive to habilitation, advancement and the well being of the individual.
Assist each individual in acquiring basic activities of daily living, social, recreational, and communicative skills for supervised living and functioning within the community.
Assist each individual to achieve his/her maximum growth as a human being and set attainable goals, consistent with his/her potential and treat them with dignity and respect.
Serve as a member of the residence treatment team, along with other members of the interdisciplinary team; assist in formulating an individual habilitative plan for each individual.
Provide quality care assurance and comply with rules and regulations governing them.
