The Vice President of Distribution – Central Division is responsible for establishing and executing on the tactics required to successfully achieve the distribution department’s overall strategy. Their role includes the hiring, training, coaching, and managing of the Regional Sales Directors and Senior Regional Sales Directors in the Central Region. Responsibilities also include:

  • Develop the sales forecast and maintain accountability for sales goal achievement, including but not limited to respective key metrics and/or budget achievement

  • Meet regularly with sales personnel to review sales activity funnel (CRM tool), customer retention and relationship activities, review sales performance compared to goal, production and training needs.

  • Work collaboratively with other departments within the organization to help provide the tools necessary for the sales team to succeed

  • Collaborate with underwriting leadership to negotiate and implement case level pricing strategies to meet Company objectives

  • Maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends in designated market to anticipate changing customer needs; proactively manage customer base

  • Screen, interview, and hire new RSDs

  • Train and onboard new RSDs

  • Assist with the design, development, and implementation of BML Sales School

  • Managing/leadership of RSDs in the Central Region

  • Business plan development/execution

Qualifications:

Education : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Experience: Sales leadership experience; Solid experience leading and managing sales teams; Demonstrated ability to develop and facilitate sales, distribution and growth strategies; Strategic thinker and problem solver with a broad understanding of innovation and technology.
