    Job Description

PROGRAM AND EVENTS COORDINATOR, Sloan School of Management-Global Programs (GP), to develop new and improve existing processes for the smooth delivery of events and ensure close collaboration across all GP programs, including run of shows; event staffing plans; event and production schedules; and other work plans for in-person, virtual, or hybrid event activities. Responsibilities include centralizing and managing efficiency projects to ensure continuous refinement, development of best practices, and quality improvements; creating and maintaining database to catalog GP space needs for immersion programs, workshops, and special events; generating creative ideas for cultural activities, company visits, and ecosystem tours, and overseeing the process from planning to execution; leading and streamlining the visa needs and requirements process for all programs; negotiating contracts and pricing and post-event follow-up; and establishing new and enhancing existing relationships with relevant department heads, team members, and global partners to retain current clients and support the development of new collaborations. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor's degree; at least two years’ events planning or project/program management experience; excellent organizational, administrative, management, problem-solving, collaboration, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills; and discretion and judgment with confidential information/issues. Seek a proactive team player who demonstrates initiative, can lead effectively with limited supervision and successfully balance and prioritize workload, and has an established track record of undertaking collaborative projects throughout the project lifecycle. PREFERRED: experience working in relationship management or program management in a higher education or comparable environment; strong MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite skills; and experience with project management tools like Asana, CRM platforms, and WordPress or other content management systems (CMS). Job #24146-6Salary range: $54,820 - 72,175 - 89,530, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. Generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.Employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background check.6/14/24
