About This Role.

The Compensation Analyst works with a team of employee experience professionals who attract and retain Forrester employees through the design and administration of all compensation programs.

Job Description:

  • Provide support for compensation cycles (promos, adjustments, and quarterly bonus and annual compensation planning), including data preparation, data validation, budgeting/spend analysis, systems support, implementation, and training/communication materials. Partner and provide support to the business partners through the process.

  • Collaborate with team members on development and maintenance of job descriptions, job classification, salary/band levels, and job profile creation in accordance with internal standards, pay transparency laws, and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in market data surveys. Benchmark jobs against survey data to determine competitive compensation range. Assist with annual companywide market analysis to determine competitive positioning of pay programs, including base pay, short-term incentive pay, and sales incentive pay.

  • Provide compensation recommendations for offers, promotions, transfers, and special bonuses in accordance with appropriate compensation guidelines and policy. Approve and ensure that changes are accurately reflected in Workday.

  • Work with cross-functional leaders to streamline and automate compensation work including design, user testing, and documentation.

  • Consult with employee experience colleagues to analyze data to guide managers in comp decisions and communicate changes to employees.

  • Manage and resolve incoming compensation questions. Maintain system data pertaining to all compensation programs and eligibility for incentive program payouts.

  • Support the sales incentive design, governance, and administration processes.

  • Identify and manage process, tool, and system improvement projects.

  • Follow emerging compensation trends and educate employee experience peers about their implications.

Job Requirements:.

  • BA/BS degree preferred

  • Three-plus years of direct compensation experience with broader HR experience.

  • Experience in analyzing large data sets in Excel and a working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.

  • Workday experience is preferred.

  • Must be well versed in various state and federal wage and hour laws, including FLSA, Equal Pay Act, MEPA, ERISA, etc.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of leadership, are required.

  • Demonstrated ability and desire to learn new information quickly and use it to perform day-to-day work in a consistent, fast, and responsive manner.

  • Creative and analytical problem-solving skills and an unyielding attention to detail to ensure accuracy.

  • Proven ability to work independently to solve problems, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and adapt quickly to changes.

  • The discipline to complete last-minute requests and follow through on open issues until resolved.

  • Flexibility to innovate work processes to improve employee experience.

  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Please note that the base salary range indicated here is inclusive of all applicable US geographies listed in this requisition. This salary range is based upon the position as described in the job listing. The offered compensation may vary within this range and is dependent upon the successful candidate’s primary work location, experience, training, education, and credentials.

Base salary range: $80,000 - $130,000
