ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATION, Sloan Executive Education, reporting to the GM/Head of Finance & Administration for Executive Education, is a key member of the Finance & Administration Support Team. Will be responsible for managing the administration team; ensuring the Office of Executive Education has effective systems, policies, and processes to maintain high operational excellence and efficiency in all administrative services; reviewing and implementing operational plans, systems, procedures, and policies to improve efficiency; acting as the principal liaison with internal and external partners and vendors; managing outside group reservation requests for Executive Education spaces; continuously improving internal onboarding and off-boarding processes; informing the agenda for monthly all-staff meetings and manager's roundtable meetings; providing recommendations to senior leadership and tracking professional development opportunities for staff; providing day-to-day oversight of administrative activities; recruiting, leading, motivating, and developing 3-5 support staff members; and managing recruitment, hiring, workload balancing, coaching, skill development, and performance management of support.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree; a minimum of two years in administrative, office, or related work; proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications; solid communication skills (oral and written); project management experience; ability to meet deadlines, work under tight time constraints, and manage multiple projects; ability to work independently and as a team member; ability to analyze, synthesize, and present information; and discretion in dealing with confidential information. Salary range: $63,860 - $85,388 - $106,915, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity. New hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
