    Job Description

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, PORTFOLIO REPORTING SOLUTIONS, MIT Investment Management Company (MITIMCo) (https://mitimco.org/discover/) , to sit at the intersection of administrative and operational functions and provide comprehensive, high-level administrative support to all members of the Portfolio Reporting Solutions (PRS) team, while interacting and collaborating with other operational, investment management, and real estate development professionals. Responsibilities include directly managing vendors that extract data from manager-provided investment reporting; organizing and maintaining checklists, policy documentation, and team project management trackers used to communicate the status of initiatives; representing the PRS team to internal/external constituencies; performing and supporting investment data capture and validation; coordinating and scheduling onsite and offsite appointments, meetings, and lunches/dinners; arranging occasional travel and processing reimbursements; supporting annual budget process and processing the teams’ accounts payable needs; assisting with signature processes and taking minutes in select meetings; and providing general back-up support. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: high school diploma or its equivalent; five years of administrative experience; track record of suggesting and implementing improvements to increase the effectiveness and efficiency; strong analytical, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail; discretion and judgment with confidential information/issues; proficiency with Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and Word; and ability to learn about data management and financial instruments. Must be able to demonstrate initiative, take ownership of work, and work independently with minimal supervision; evaluate, synthesize, and communicate information clearly; and prioritize work and meet tight deadlines, often while working under pressure and with frequent interruptions. PREFERRED: bachelor’s degree, two years of experience with data-related processes and/or document management workflows, and Tableau experience.
