    Job Description

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT 2, Schwarzman College of Computing (SCC), to perform complex and diverse duties in support of the Office of the Dean in the Schwarzman College of Computing and directly support the assistant dean for development, director of communications, and director of human resources. Will provide administrative support for multiple programs and projects, acquire knowledge of the Institute and other departments in order to anticipate and initiate actions regarding office operations, and help coordinate activities within the dean’s office and across the college broadly. Responsibilities will include calendar support and meeting scheduling, maintenance of financial records and monthly financial review and control, responding to internal requests for information and reports, arranging group meetings and taking minutes, maintaining electronic and paper files, planning and coordinating high-profile events and meetings, coordinating complex travel arrangements and maintaining supporting documentation, and performing other duties as assigned. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: high school diploma or its equivalent; at least three years of administrative, office, or related experience; excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, FileMaker Pro, and Cognos and comfort using both PCs and Macs; experience updating websites; and experience arranging travel, paying invoices, ordering supplies, reconciling accounts, and with expense reimbursements. Must be able to work effectively with others at all levels; prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously; demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team; and problem solve.
