What will your typical day look like?

Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Reproduction duties including printing, assembling, binding, copying and scanning

• Mailroom support including arranging couriers, sorting mail, package management

• Providing access cards to staff and visitor

• Purchasing and distribution of office supplies

• Perform general office maintenance and organization of supply rooms and printer/copier areas

• Distribute security access cards;

• Back up to reception

• Apply knowledge of the firm’s various software, processes, policies and tools;

• Communicate with the client when there are questions or issues to be addressed

• Health & Safety program: Fire Warden, First Aid & OHS committee

• Complete various administrative tasks as needed.

• The standard work schedule will be in office business days from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Variable schedule depending on needs.

About the team

The members of the Workplace services team possess a practical body of knowledge that is applied in the delivery of office support. It includes jobs in the areas of procurement, mailroom, security, concierge, delivery and distribution, reception, records, telecommunications, hoteling resource management and facilities management.

The Workplace Services role draws upon knowledge of the specific function discipline and the organization's business practices, to provide services to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the organization. The Central Business Services group is seeking a Workplace Services Professional for our Calgary office.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone who has:

  • 2 - 3 years of work experience in administration, customer service, hospitality, or in a facilities environment

  • Experience with multifunction printers, inventory, mail, courier and invoice management

  • Team player, positive attitude, strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to establish credibility and collaborate with all Deloitte Canada staff

  • Client service experience essential, strong negotiation skills and ability to manage priorities under tight deadlines

  • Essential qualities: attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • First Aid would be an asset

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $33,000 - $60,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
