Summary

We seek a highly motivated, creative, and disciplined Senior Program Manager/Release Train Engineer to join our team of Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Solution/Enterprise Architects. The successful candidate will primarily focus on solutions leveraging SAP ERP (ECC), SAP BW/HANA, SAP HANA, Business Objects BI, SAP Enterprise Portal, and emerging IT technologies.

They will be responsible for defining and leading a comprehensive SAP Transformation program. The successful candidate will have a proven track record to develop and execute strategic plans.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Program Management

Key Responsibilities

• Defines and leads the SAP Transformation roadmap/program for Finance, Supply Chain and HR.

• Manages the Financial aspects such as working with vendors and internal resources to provide accurate YEE forecasts.

• Preparing executive presentations for senior leadership team and other stakeholders.

• Engage stakeholders, contributors, and technical resources to accomplish tasks.

• Contribute to and propel the team toward Agile Maturity and DevOps goals.

• End-to-end management of multiple concurrent workstreams.

• Utilize project coordination expertise and tools like Rally, JIRA, and MS-Project to support upstream and downstream teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)...

• Gather and analyze requirements through collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Finance, HR, IT, and business stakeholders.

• Oversee the successful implementation of large IT projects, ensuring adherence to delivery timelines, budgets, and business requirements.

• Translate complex technical details into clear, actionable insights, demonstrating strong communication skills at all levels, including executive stakeholders.

• Effective partnership with other business units to align budgets and programs with strategic priorities.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning through coaching and direction-setting

Critical Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the principles of effective communication and persuasion

• Excellent writing and editing skills

• Proficient in presentation software

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience project management and/or business analysis, with a focus on ERP systems.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Agile methodologies, including SAFe, Kanban, Lean, and Scrum.

• PMP, Certified SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or equivalent certifications.

• Demonstrated leadership and management of cross-functional teams, complemented by exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in Agile principles and practices, such as Lean, DevOps, Continuous Delivery, and Value Stream Mapping.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify and resolve complex systems issues.

• Ability to build solid working relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of staff within the organization and external contacts.

• Sound judgment in handling issues, ensuring a sense of urgency in resolution while maintaining composure and focus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the preparation and presentation of senior management reporting packages and project business cases.

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
