KPMG HR Coordinator in Calgary, Alberta

The Opportunity

Our team is looking for an HR Coordinator to support our Calgary HR team with recruiting support, employee onboarding, internal events, reporting and HR other administrative activities.

As a member of KPMG’s Business Enablement Team, the HR Coordinator plays a key role in delivering on our ‘How can I help you’ service culture in Calgary.

What you will do

  • Provide support to the HR team in delivering on core talent processes and HR projects

  • Drive the preboarding and onboarding activities for Campus and Experienced hires, including ongoing communication with hires prior to start

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in KPMG’s HR Centres of Excellence, to deliver HR services in Calgary and ensure issues and obstacles are escalated

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of internal events, including our Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (ID&E) People Network events

  • Support the administrative needs of our CPA (Chartered Professional Accountants) education program

  • Participate in the local Occupational Health and Safety Committee

  • Assist with HR reporting, Offboarding, and other administrative duties as required.

What you bring to the role

  • Bachelor’s degree or Post-Secondary Education in HR or related field

  • 1-2 years of relevant administrative or HR Coordinator experience

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to learn different business processes

  • Perform well under pressure and demonstrate adaptability in managing unexpected situations

  • Strong relationship building and client service skills and the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment, while still maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Computer proficiency with MS Outlook, Word and Excel, and a strong aptitude and comfort with other tools/technology

  • Strong communications skills
